Discover Tiout and Taroudant on a day of exploration from 08:00 to 17:00 starting from Agadir. Taroudant, located 86 km east of Agadir, is nestled between the High Atlas to the north and the Anti-Atlas to the east.

Taroudant, sometimes called the "little Marrakech," showcases its charms behind red mud ramparts, with the snow-capped peaks of the High Atlas in the background. The souks and squares of Taroudant immerse you in a mystical Maghrebi atmosphere. It's also a practical crossroads, where Berbers exchange goods from the fertile Souss Valley.

There are no must-see sights here. Instead, the medina is perfect for leisurely strolls. The souks offer a lively but less frantic atmosphere than Marrakech. With nearby mountains and the coast, Taroudant is an ideal base for hiking. Just 65 km from Al-Massira Airport, it's an atmospheric stopover.

As we head towards Taroudant in our minibus or car, the 86 km pass pleasantly. Argan trees dotted with goats and citrus orchards enhance the landscape.

In Taroudant, nicknamed the little Marrakech for its imposing ramparts and bustling activity, we wander through the alleys of the artisanal souk to experience the medina's splendor. Women dressed in long indigo veils catch our eye, reminiscent of Saharan caravans of the past.

After exploring Taroudant, we continue to the Tioute oasis, 30 km away, a village with red ochre houses offering a splendid landscape. A donkey ride through the palm grove precedes lunch at the kasbah, providing an extraordinary panoramic view.

After approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes in Tioute, we return to Agadir.
